Instead, we focus on creating a simple, effective, mineral-based formula you can feel confident using daily.

I love this sunscreen! It smells wonderful and works well. The only downside side is that it feels grainy and if you don’t rub it in enough it leaves a white cast. Other than that, it’s great!
Thanks so much for the feedback! The slight white color is from the non-nano zinc oxide, which is the natural mineral that helps provide the sun barrier. Because it sits on top of the skin rather than absorbing in like chemical sunscreens, it can leave a bit of a white cast and thicker texture. The slight graininess can also happen naturally in richer balm formulas with mineral ingredients and butters. We chose this type of formula intentionally to avoid the harsh chemicals and synthetic fillers found in many conventional sunscreens while still deeply nourishing the skin. A little goes a long way, and warming it between your hands before applying can help it spread more smoothly.
