You're not broken. You've just been sold the wrong thing.
For years, I stood in skincare aisles reading the backs of bottles and not recognizing a single ingredient. I bought what was recommended, what was popular, what promised to fix everything. Some things worked for a week. Most didn't work at all. My skin stayed dry, reactive, and frustrated — and so did I.
The more I learned, the more I realized the problem wasn't my skin. It was what I was putting on it. Synthetic fillers. Water-based creams that evaporate before they absorb. Fragrances that irritate while they supposedly soothe. Ingredients engineered to keep you buying, not to actually heal you.
I wanted something different. Something real. So I stopped buying and started making.
How a homestead kitchen became the answer.
My family and I made a choice a few years ago to live differently — closer to the land, more intentional about what we put in and on our bodies. We have chickens, goats, a garden, and a deep appreciation for doing things the old way when the old way actually works.
It was in that spirit that I started researching beef tallow — a natural fat that humans used for centuries before the beauty industry decided chemicals were better. The science backed it up: tallow is bioidentical to our skin's own oils, meaning your body actually knows what to do with it. Rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K. Deeply moisturizing without clogging pores. Anti-inflammatory. Absorbs fast. Works.
I spent months in my kitchen testing, adjusting, and refining — through a lot of glorious messes — until I had something I was genuinely proud to put on my own family's skin. Then I started sharing it with neighbors. Then their neighbors. On August 9, 2024, I opened the store. The rest has been the most rewarding thing I've ever built.
What we stand for — and what we refuse to do.
- Clean ingredients only - Every ingredient has a reason to be there. If it doesn't help your skin, it isn't in our products.
- Healing over selling - A customer who heals buys less — and tells more people. That trade-off is worth it to us every time.
- Family before business - We close for Christmas. We ship on our schedule. We're a family first, and this business reflects that.
- USA-sourced - Our tallow comes from USA grass-fed, grass-finished cattle. We know exactly where our ingredients come from.
